Start 2025 in style with a sparkling one-off event of five short LGBTQ+ stories.

Created by actors, musicians and writers, the line-up includes award winning artists trying out new work for the first time.

Buy tickets here via York Theatre Royal.

Our artists include:

  • Katie Bonna (she/her) – All The Things I Lied About (Off West End Award)

  • JJ Cruickshank (he/they) – Scarborough’s (Not) Forever Yone

  • Frew (he/they) – Composition includes Chariots of Fire and Steel (Sheffield Theatres)

  • Hook (they/them) – mythical creature and cabaret artist based in York

  • Tabby Lamb (she/her) – Happy Meal (Fringe First Award)

  • Max Percy (he/him) – This is Not a Show about Hong Kong (Fringe First Award)

Tickets are only £5, and all sales go towards Roots’ work developing queer artistic talent.
